Susan has been photographing, studying and collecting artworks, as well as managing her cutting horse ranch, for over 18 years. The experience and study enabled Susan to develop her own style.
When asked what her favorite subject matter is, Susan replied, "Nature's light. My approach is to capture memories of the past. I allow the viewer to finish the image; finishing it with their own fond memories, evoked by the subject matter, taking them to their 'special moment in time'. In everyone's busy world, for one look, I give them reason for pause."
Through her creative design and marketing expertise, she proved successful in promoting her ranch operation and five stallions. All the while, incorporating her passion for photography. Susan photographs the majestic stallions and their offspring, colorful landscapes of the rolling hills of the Texas ranch, vibrant horizons, and nostalgic ranch scenes.
Although, she still owns her 300 acre ranch, in Boonsville, Texas, Susan is hanging up her saddle and taking her photography to a new level.
